Music Teacher's Helper

Description:
I originally wrote this web application to help me keep track of my piano students and always know how much they owe me. I later thought that other music teachers might benefit from this kind of service so I expanded it and made it available for everyone. The software allows teachers to manage their students' lesson progress and attendance, payments, teacher expenses, scheduling, and MUCH more. Students and teachers can interact with their own accounts through an online calendar and email.

Features:
Database handles separate logins for teachers and each of their students showing only information pertinent to their account. I also created an administrator section to help keep track of teachers using the service. Includes bar/line/pie chart reports, exporting to Excel spreadsheets. Each teacher manages their own studio.

InspectionWise

Description:
InspectionWise wanted a web application to help manage inspections and reports that came in from clients.

Features:
Clients can login to submit inspection requests, and the inspectors can then inspect the property and upload any reports or photos for the property, as well as invoice the client through the site. At any time, the client can login to view the progress, see the photos and download the reports.

Description:

Data Ingenuity

Description:
Data Ingenuity sells HR Management software and they wanted a website that gave visitors a chance to review the features and benefits of the software, see screenshots and video tutorials of how it works, and be able to download a demo from the website. This site was also built using a content management system, allowing Data Ingenuity to add new pages themselves, and change the words on any page at any time in an easy-to-use Word processor-like editor.

Features:
Video tutorials, screenshot photo tour, downloadable demo version which stores contact information of those who have downloaded, administrator interface to edit the content on the website.

This was a redesign of a website for a wedding decorator. She wanted to be able to explain about her service and show pictures of her decorations.

Dirty Copper

Description:
When Plain White Paper changed their name to Dirty Copper, they wanted a new website, and here is what I came up with. Because I had coded the original site well, the only thing I needed to change was the style, or look & feel of the site, which saved them a lot of money in the redesign.

Scream Cheese Photos

Description:
A website where photographers can sell the photos they take. For example, a Scream Cheese photographer may photograph you throwing a frisbee with your family in the park. They may take your picture, give you a business card, and you can go online to buy digital copies of your photos.

Features:
A photographer login where they can add events and photos. They can upload multiple photos at once through a Flash multi-file uploader. They can set their own pricing for each event, and track completed orders and shipments. Payments through Paypal.

Archive Plus Software

Description:
A website advertising Archive Plus, an electronic document management system. Also contains logins for administrators, managers, dealers, and customers to track orders, license purchases, and more.

Features:
The site begins with the Homepage containing testimonials cycling in a Flash animation, coming from an XML file. Users can purchase the software online with a credit card. There is an ActiveX control residing on the server which I used to generate license keys so the customer can activate the software once it is installed.

AAAScanners.com

Description:
A website to sell Canon's high speed document scanners and accessories and track customers' orders and shipping.

Features:
Includes product search capabilities, and an administration area to add new products or edit current ones, track orders and shipping, print receipts, etc. I created an interactive shopping cart and interfaced it with the company's merchant account for online credit card processing. Customers can login to their accounts once an order is complete to see order status and other information. I also designed the logo.

Sky Performing Arts

Description:
I designed this site for a performing arts company in Monroe, WA. They wanted a way to enter their productions, performances, audition schedules, and much more and have it displayed dynamically to users. A subscription contact list was also created with a way to email people who had subscribed to different lists. I designed the entire site (front-end and back-end, including the logo) except for the database design.

Features:
Administrator login to add, edit, and delete dynamic data. Performances show dates and times in a list, as well as highlighted on a calendar. Site was designed with strict-validating XHTML/CSS.

MyIdealMe.com

Description:
A program for personal trainers and their clients to interact and track their progress on their workout and body goals. Developed on a team with ABC Software.

Features:
I designed the workout and goals pages with multiple-row edit datagrids, the goals report which displays bar graphs showing the clients progress in their workout, and many other pages.

Description:
This site was created for a real estate investment company to advertise their investment strategies and training, as well as provide support and a community for their students.

Features:
An interactive map on the home page to learn about the steps of investing in real estate, other informational pages with forms the user can fill out to request more information. An administrator area where they can add additional success stories with audio clips.

Description:
A few years later, ProRealEstateSource had grown their company to the point where they had a different business focus, new requirements, and wanted a completely new website.

Features:
In addition to advertising their real estate investment coaching programs, this site also allows clients to login and list their own properties on the site, as well as find potential buyers for their property. Those looking to buy can request information right from the site, and emails are sent to the administrator so they can follow the progress. This new site offers a community for property buyers and sellers to meet and work out investments together.

Memories-Moments Photography

Description:
I developed this site for a photography company that takes pictures of newborns at hospitals. They wanted the ability to put the baby pictures on the Internet so parents and other family members could order portraits of their baby online. They can also customize their baby's website, choose a background pattern, and update their baby's information.

Features:
Site includes password protected areas for babies and the administrator. Administrator has a private area to manage the babies, customers, orders, and create custom emails that will be sent out automatically. I created a shopping cart for customers to order the different portraits of their baby in the different photo sizes. Payment options were made available through Paypal or check/money order. The program emails the owner and the customer with the order details at the end of the transaction. Different photographers can login and add the photos they've taken, and the administrator can run a commission reports for each photographers to determine how much they should earn from the sales of their orders.

MSC Sales Tracker

Description:
I developed Sales Tracker for MSC Imaging as a tool used by most everyone in the company to track a customer from initial contact on through every sale and interaction. There are different interfaces for telemarketers, sales reps, technicians, dispatchers, inventory managers, and administrators. It can run numerous reports on sales, telemarketing, service orders, and more. It was a huge project and covers a lot of ground.

Features:
Multiple customizable login privileges with dynamic menus based on the permissions of the user. Scalable web application that has room to grow - and it still is as requirements are added. Auditing history to track every event that each user performs. Export options to Word, Excel, PDF, Email, Print, etc. All Reports available in multiple formats (data report, bar chart, 3d bar chart, line chart, area chart, pie chart, etc.). Interactive, organized Help system. I designed everything about this site, from the logo, to the layout, to everything that happens on the back end and the database. Also added the ability to scan directly into the application through a scanner using an ActiveX control.
